Cookie Policy

Last updated: 6 October 2026. This page describes the storage technologies actually prepared or used by this build.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text values stored by a browser and returned to the relevant website on later requests. Similar technologies such as local storage can store preferences in the browser without being sent on every request.

2. Storage used by this site

The site can use a first-party cd_consent cookie to remember whether you chose essential-only or permitted analytics. The contact form uses a PHP session to protect the form with a CSRF token; this may create a session cookie depending on server configuration.

3. Essential cookies

Essential storage supports security, form integrity and remembering privacy choices. These functions do not require advertising profiling. Blocking all cookies can affect the contact form or cause the site to ask for your preference repeatedly.

4. Analytics

GA4 and Google Tag Manager IDs are currently blank in config/integrations.php. As a result, this build does not intentionally load Google Analytics or GTM. The template contains consent-aware hooks so analytics can remain disabled unless IDs are later provided and the user selects analytics.

5. Advertising and affiliate tracking

No advertising tag, remarketing tag or active affiliate partner is configured. The intended business model is affiliate publishing, but the current build has no partner destination URL. If affiliate tracking is introduced later, the cookie and privacy disclosures must be updated to identify what is set, by whom, for how long and for what purpose.

6. Cookiebot

No Cookiebot Domain Group ID was provided, so Cookiebot is not loaded. The site uses its own basic preference control. If Cookiebot is later adopted, this policy should be updated to reflect the actual categories and vendors detected.

7. reCAPTCHA and Maps

No reCAPTCHA key or Google Maps integration was provided. Those services are not loaded by the current site and this policy therefore does not claim that they process visitor data.

8. Duration

The cd_consent preference is set for roughly 180 days unless you clear it earlier. PHP session-cookie duration is controlled by the server and is normally limited to the browsing session or configured session lifetime.

9. First-party and third-party cookies

The cookies described above are first-party. No named third-party analytics or advertising cookie is intentionally active in this build. If external services are activated, they may set their own cookies or receive technical request data.

10. Changing your choice

You can delete site cookies in your browser settings at any time. Deleting cd_consent will cause the site to ask again. Browser settings can also block cookies entirely, though some form-security features may then fail.

11. Consent and withdrawal

Optional analytics should only be loaded after a user selects the analytics option. Withdrawing consent can be done by clearing the site cookie and then choosing essential-only when the preference panel appears again. If an external consent platform is introduced later, its withdrawal mechanism should replace or integrate with this process.

12. Changes

This policy must be reviewed whenever analytics, affiliate tracking, embedded media, Maps, reCAPTCHA, advertising or another third-party integration is enabled.

13. Contact
